Salvation – The eternally enduring gift of God, given only and fully through faith in the finished work of Christ and not of ourselves. Confessing our sin and receiving God’s pledge of our eternal life ought to cause us to turn from sin to good works. [more]
Holy Spirit – The third Person in the Trinity, Who indwells every believer, convicting of sin, teaching righteousness, and empowering God’s children to live out the Christian life by God’s grace and not our own strength as He unifies the Church under Jesus Christ. [more]
The Church –Universally, it is the family of God, the body of Christ on earth, made up of all those who have trusted in Christ. Locally, it is led by the pastor, assisted by elders who are responsible for carrying out the scriptural mandates of ministry. [more]
Baptism – An outward expression of the inward reality that one has placed their faith in Christ. [more]
Communion – This time of remembrance is for those who, having trusted in Christ, are members of His body, not necessarily members of this local congregation. [more] |
